Fracture is a theatrical toy I developed during the Hampstead Theatre 50/50 workshops whilst working with The Factory. It will take a monologue or simple piece of text and split it up into assigned characters, doing so at various selected points (commas, full stops etc).

Paste a piece of text into the box above, choose how to split it, select the number of characters and see what Fracture produces.

Submitting the same piece of text will refracture it across different character parts and in different ways.

The application has some rough edges but as a quick and dirty way of playing with text it seems to do the trick!
